It appears to be my day to blog again. It comes round so quickly.
Thunder and lightning and rain last night. Rain had stopped by the time we came down in the morning.
Cameras and breakfast were dealt with before we readied ourselves for the first dive.
Bit windy this morning. Sun canopy on the boat was taken off in case it got caught by the wind.
Dive #9
Bethlehem
Coral out crops at the top give way to a rubble area where we hunt for little things.
We saw little things!
We move to the next dive site where we take our surface internal.
Dive #10
Minilog
Coral covered slope
We saw a beautiful pink nudi posing amongst other things. Also a butterfly nudi.
Back to the resort for lunch. Very adventurous, not. See dive day #1 for details.
Had a nap, about an hour, before the next dive.
Dive #11
Apol’s Point
A very beautiful dive. Lots of coral covered in brightly coloured feather stars.
Again saw lots, including a pink pygmy seahorse.
We had a longer break before the next dive, as we were doing the night dive rather than the sunset dive. More time for coffee and biscuits.
Dive #12
Secret Bay
Muck dive on a sandy slope
We saw a banded sea snake, bobtail squid, nudis, shrimps and hermit crabs.
After the dive it was time for tea. Delicious tea of sweet and sour chicken, coleslaw (not the mayonnaise kind) and fried rice.
More picture stuff before bed.
